GR561-Achel_Bree_1

The construction of an extensive network of canals and irrigation have turned big areas of barren land into fertile farming grounds. The region between Achel and Bree clearly illustrates this transformation. It's not really the classic tourist image of the Campine region, but you'll find the hike quite informative.
